Kalyakoorl Nidja, Nidja Kalyakoorl will be a visually stunning, perpetually shifting artwork covering the entire main façade of the north western face of the main gallery. Made up of over 1700 hexagonal tiles each containing its own individual motor for movement across one or two axis. The surface of the front facing tiles mirrors the matt stone surface of the building with a base colour of sand, in remembrance of the ochre pits the gallery was built upon.
